Prince William and Kate Middleton kicked off Valentine's Day by gifting the world a rare, romantic photo of them enjoying a precious moment together in nature.
The beloved royal pair shared the snap to Instagram on Friday (February 14) with a simple red heart as their caption. The sweet photo depicts the couple sitting on a blanket in the woods. The Princess of Wales looks to be laughing in delight as she holds her husband's hand while Prince William kisses her on the cheek. The duo, who share children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, sit surrounded by trees and sunshine as they revel in each other's company.
The lovely photo arrives mere months after Middleton announced that her abdominal cancer was officially in remission. The royal mother-of-three took to social media to share the exciting news with fans earlier this year, thanking her husband and loved ones for their support, the hospital staff for their time and effort, and people around the world for their thoughts and prayers.
Just last month, a source close to the royal household told People that Middleton and Prince William's relationship was stronger than ever following her battle with cancer.
"For the princess, family — her husband and children — are more important than anything else," the source disclosed.
Though 2025 started with some very positive news, 2024 was particularly "brutal" for Prince William as the year saw both his wife and father, King Charles III, battling cancer.
"It's been dreadful. It's probably been the hardest year in my life," the Prince of Wales said in November 2024.
