Ariana Grande is reminiscing about all things Wicked.
On Tuesday (January 6), the "We Can't Be Friends" singer shared several photos and videos to Instagram capturing behind-the-scenes memories and unseen moments from her time starring as Glinda in Wicked and Wicked: For Good over the course of nearly six years.
From flipping through meticulously organized notes and pics with fellow Ozians as well as director Jon M. Chu to glimpses of her practicing detailed choreography and snapshots from the hair and makeup trailer transforming into her bubbly character, Grande gave fans a special look behind the curtain from her years spent dedicated to her dream role.
"bubble things," she wrote in the caption. "five and half years with G."
In one hilarious blooper, Grande laughed and broke character while attempting to chase costar Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba, appearing to turn toward Chu and tell him, "don't laugh at me!"
The Eternal Sunshine musician also shared a heartfelt, handwritten note from her mother, Joan Grande, encouraging her with "this is your moment" and sweetly calling her "a beautiful bubble that emanates a radiant light which shines through you and from you every day of your life."
Grande's performance in Wicked: For Good earned her a nomination for best supporting actress in a motion picture at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, which airs Sunday, January 11. Her fellow nominees include Emily Blunt, Elle Fanning, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Amy Madigan and Teyana Taylor. Check out the full list of nominees.
